Offroading with my 1994 Chevrolet S-10 4x4 (4.3L Vortec Z V6, automatic trans.). This is me driving downstream in a creek at the trail system locally known as Flat Rock. Unfortunately the trails are now closed because the county kept running people off of them, then ultimately they blocked off the entrances with logs, rocks, huge dirt hills, and now they built the new Harbins Park and a neighborhood on the land. Too bad, because these were some great trails! If anyone knows of any places to offroad around Gwinnett/Metro Atlanta, let me know in the comments section! Thanks!

  • I didn't realize there were still ways in! I've tried a few routes and they were all blocked this summer.

  • you know anymore palces to go ?

  • Not around here. They'll arrest you if you try to go in to Flat Rock or Ewing Chapel, my other favorite place not too far from Flat Rock.

  • Is this also known as Union Grove?

  • theres some sick trails right behin the Home Depot at the crossing of 78 and Killian Hill

  • pipeline road in dacula is a good one

  • Power line trails are fun off Peachtree Industrial in Suwanee, but probably illegal now.

  • out of 4000 acers out there the park takes 1/4 of it. ive been to the park i use to hunt that property befor the county got it. Yes u will get in trouble playin in the park.

  • I went back there on my dual sported dirt bike. Nothing to see there really, especially for trucks. Very slick red clay with nothing to hook too to winch yourself out if you get stuck.

PS- Anybody who continues to go into Flat Rock is a moron. It is a Gwinnett County park. You will be arrested. I had my fun there myself, but the time has passed.

  • Thanks for letting this become public. Now we know to keep a better eye out for anyone who is in the park illegally. Ill be sure to let all the proper Gwinnett police and park officials know. ; )

  • @jamesbaird01

Get back onto flat rock? The park is open now, how would you not get caught?
