When we make fun of the madeleine case, we are making fun of the case itself. Not the girl who had no fault of having the most cinical and shity parents in the modern world.
We make fun of the media cynicism, especially the british media. We will probably never know if the parents killed her (accidentaly or not). But, WE DO KNOW that the parents were AT LEAST negligent. IT WAS THEIR FAULT. And yet, they received support and loads of money from and because of the media . Shame on you english ppl.

No. Whats making fun of, is the media circus created around it, wich in no way helped the investigation. It was the outrageous media coverage given by the UK media, wich had no interest in the truth, only in selling papers and that has done more damage to the investigation and to the relations between Portugal and British police than anything else. It was the fact that the parents should have been arrested for AT LEAST leaving a child alon to go have some fun and drinks.
