Citroen AX GT 1.4L 85 hp

I thought that 1.1L engines were 75hp and the 1.4 were about 90hp or am I wrong?

Wrong indeed, 1.1 were less than 75 !

1.4 injection monopoint: 75

1.4 twin choke: 85

1.4 multipoint (ax gti): 100 then 95

@2005pierric Thanks for the explaining :) I also have another question. I recently fitted a 1.4L engine on my AX with monopoint and the i'm using the ECU from a 1.1L engine.

So if I only change the monopoint with multipoint and the ECU from the gti, I'd get 95 hp right?

Aww nope mate, gti engines are different (pistons and cylinder head), so you won't get any good sorry. Should put a GTi engine + GTi ecu ;)

thats only 75 not?

chiped, or kinda sport muffler?

the carburettor model comes with 85hp, 75 is the injection model :)

And the performance are WAY different :D
