That's the world of Laura Rosser, 24, and others who have synesthesia, in which one sense - taste, sight, hearing, touch or smell - gets jumbled with another, creating what Dr. Richard Cytowic, a neurologist, describes as a blending of the senses.

  • And can you imagine how incredible it would be to taste music? I can think of so many songs that would taste delicious.

  • I also have this to a degree. For me, letters and numbers appear as colors in my mind. It's as if my mind assigned colors to certain numbers and letters.

  • My sound -> visual synesthesia is a little more grotesque than the woman's in this video. Notes aren't colors, but tones are. Some songs look like a horror movie to me. Makes for great artwork, though.

  • @killiankiid thats so cool!!! x3 so like can you give me an example? cuz for people who have it each sound makes a different color and stuff.

  • i had no idea i had synesthesia until i saw this video.
