CHOPPER ONE - Theme Music

Here's the "Chopper One" opening and closing theme music along with some publicity still photos from the series.

"Chopper One" presented the exploits of two helicopter policemen, Officer Don Burdick (Jim McMullan) and Officer Gil Foley (a young Dirk Benedict) of the Western California Police Department (W.C.P.D.). Together, they patrolled the skies from above in a Bell Jetranger helicopter and protected the city of Los Angeles, California from criminals. Originally titled "The Chopper Cops."

The station screwed up when they took this show off of the air after only one season. How stupid can you get. Same as Battle Star, Dirk show off his acting excellently and his looks did not hurt either. Beverly, Tenn

I remember watching that old show & also playing with my Chopper One set that also came w/the Cops & robbers in the old carboard packaging with pictures on the back too. Can't find that old playset or the old tv show anywhere on dvd at all thou.

This use to be my favorite t.v. show theme songs. I especially liked the funkier ending credits version as well. Back in the day it seems like the theme music usually set up the pace of the show.
