"A 45-year-old man now living in the Bay Area may be the first person ever cured of the deadly disease AIDS, the result of the discovery of an apparent HIV immunity gene. Timothy Ray Brown tested positive for HIV back in 1995, but has now entered scientific journals as the first man in world history to have that HIV virus completely eliminated from his body in what doctors call a "functional cure.""

Magic Johnson is not the only person living healthy life with HIV!!!!!
The key point was that the virus was detected very early. And he took very strong medication. With early detection & drug treatment, a patient has 90% chance of holding down HIV virus.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa, was he cured of HIV or was he cured of AIDS? There is a distinct difference. HIV is the actual contagion that infects you, AIDS is the autoimmune disease caused by the infection. This is really not a very informative article.

omg...im so happy to hear all this by 2011...im hoping for this to realy help all the kids that was born with aids & hiv to help cure them please...its so sad to know that they are born with it...im hoping by 2012 now or by 2013 for anyone to find cure for cancers...
