  • Best show on TV. Then end.

  • Please say it comes onto major TV channels repeatedly soon. It's on FX but only the first season, and episodes are on like once a week. In my opinion it's up there with the best TV shows at the moment.

  • @SteveJawbs Yeah, you bring up a good point, but that's the thing: Walter was the one who left her and the company, kind of abruptly, if I remember right. If that was the case, I think it was pretty much acceptable for them to continue with Walter's work, if he just up and left.

And yeah, I guess combining Walters history with them and his established feelings explains it, but it just seemed weird for him to put his family in danger over pride. But I get it, people do irrational stuff everyday.

  • @EinsteinEMP826 Well you left out the part where his past comes up with Gretchen. Walter left her, and she and Elliot (her new lover) used his work to create a gigantic company. I'd be pretty fucking pissed off too if someone else used my research to become filthy rich and successful, so it's understandable he absolutely refuses to take money from them.

Combine that with Walt's already negative attitude about accepting donations and its 100% believable.

  • @EinsteinEMP826 I think a lot of his actions have to do with the fact that he didn't expect to live at all, treatment or not. The goal was to leave his family with a pile of money, he only accepted treatment at all because of Skyler. He freaked out when he found out his cancer was in remission and beat the shit out of the heater in the bathroom. Did you see the one where he tells Walt JR about his dad dying of Huntingtons? All Walt cares about is how he will be remembered.

  • one of the best tv series ive ever watched if not the best.

  • @itsburgertimebitch true, but his old partner was offering him a high-paying job as well.

  • @EinsteinEMP826 Uhhhh, he needed alot more money for other things too, not just his treatment.

  • Walt Jr. seemed to have lost some weight over the seasons, I think he just took it out and injected it right into Skyler.

  • This is tied with The Wire as the best show ever. Mad Men, Sopranos and Rome trail a bit behind.

  • @EinsteinEMP826 Just because you can't believe it doesn't mean it's not possible/believable.

  • I absolutely love the show, but I feel like the writers created a bit of a plot hole: the entire concept of the show rests on the fact that Walter is too proud to accept help from his billionaire friend and former partner who openly offers to pay entirely for his chemotherapy. The idea that Walter would rather turn to serious crime rather than accept charity of any form is a little hard to believe for me.
