Maria needs more international exposure and NOT team up with charisma-challenged artists because of whom she needs to exude charisma for two (what's the point of that, you want to benefit from each other's energies and make the performance unforgettable as a result!) I toyed with the idea of going to see her live earlier this year, but when I saw her and David Linx on stage on youtube clips, I changed my mind (because she was teaming up with him again).

@28thadude She is Maria João a jazz singer from Portugal. She is very well known specially for her improvisation skills. Although she mainly emerges herself in jazz music, she do have a very diverse music repertoire ... most recently she uses a lot of influences from ex portuguese colonies like Brazil and African countries like Angola or Mozambique in her songs. One of my fav songs of her is called Horn please, i love the way she plays with sounds and jazz music constructions in a so simple way.
