@TonyKaiser83 If that is so, what's the point of having government at all? Choosing on the lesser of two evils here, at worst, it is either terrorism or mass killings, sufferings, etc. by a government so big to suppress the exact same thing......

Sadly the terrorists have largely won; they've scared us so much that we've given up virtually all of our freedoms and have effectively destroyed ourselves.

Of course those in power don't care about this; their concern is to have absolute power over every aspect of all of our lives.

Will we eventually be safe from the terrorists? Sure, but our government will have so much power to do as it pleases that it will become more dangerous to us than the terrorists ever were.
