Jeanna's Light

This is a modified version of Jeanna's Joule Thief FL driver circuit using a big 31/4" toroid coil. The circuit is running on one AA 1.5 volt battery. A modified 10 watt CFL bulb is being illuminated. The circuit shown in the video has an error in it. There is no connection between the transistor base and the circuit negative rail. A 100pf capacitor can be placed there and Jeanna used one. I just eliminated it and got the circuit to run with one less part. FANTASTIC, you are missing big point, input power is 0.1 Amp X 1.5 V= 0.15W while the output is 10 W isn't it (almost) free energy or energy booster or whatever you name it.

@amermahdy70 ------The problem with that logic is that the "10 watt bulb" is misleading. It is gutted and is only part way on. It looks good in the video because it was dark in the room. The camera was making it look brighter than it really was. Other people who have replicated this device have run it on 3 volts and gotten much better light. It is a pretty good bang for the buck home made light---but not magic.

hi great work, can i use any npn like a 2n3904?....also does it have to be 30 and 24 gauge wire?

for al of u its not free energy its simply suking up cosmic rays from all the stars in the universe

so for all u debunkers u just cant think out of the box this can be explained with the curent lavs of physics just that most humans dont gett the consept of cosmic rays and radiation that contain lots and lots of energy and is everywhere in the universe as long as al those fantasilions of stars are burning

since lidmotor told us that he gutted the bulb of all electronics, we can't use the original '10w' power specs to give us any OU conclusions. Instead, you'd need to measure the intensity of the light, then use a spectrometer to estimate each wavelength involved, then find photons/sec...etc
