Great intro. Watched this because I'm reading Crystal Shard and wanted to know whether the game takes place before, or after the events of the book. Funny thing that now as I'm reading the book (Which came before the game), the game feels much more epic. The book is still good, no doubt, but the atmosphere, music, even the intro in the game. They all created this wonderful atmosphere which had me coming back for more, after each day - until I finished the game half year after beginning the game.

Me too, because it's so warm and feels dramatic and compassionate at the same time. The Storyteller, the adult Maralie Fiddlebender, the niece of Oswald in the game, was spoken by Grey De Lisle. There is also an interview with her here at youtube, though not one concerning Icewind Dale.
