Maverick's POV
Story: Maverick and Iceman were together, and Maverick was in love with Iceman. Iceman left Maverick for Slider, and Maverick was heartbroken. I credit the ending to my friend Kiersten, who wanted it to turn out that Maverick and Iceman eventually are friends, and Maverick introduces Slider and Iceman to his new boyfriend, Goose.
