Hey, Im the guitarist for Iechine and this is Meshuggah's Paradoxical Spiral, Re-inanimate, and Entrapment from their 2005 album Catch 33.

Please excuse the sloppy mistakes here and there, this was the first and only take (And my least rehearsed part of Catch 33!)

80??? on an RG7??? .070 was the fattest I could fit on my RG7321 (did u unwind it or drill?), but I'm going to sell it. I just ordered an RG2228. CAN'T WAIT. and I've already got the PERFECT meshuggah tone with my X3 beaner. I'm set.

also, HAHAa the part at 4:19 is the best. My head does the EXACT same move when I play that part, lol. WTF? why is that? That's just a damn good groove. nice work!

Ha no, probably not. I never bothered to learn it although its nothing crazy. I'm not into it enough to learn all the little whammy bar subtleties.

As much as I love the riff from 3:40 - 4:12 , I have to say that my favorite riff is from 4:12 - 4:44. The solo fits with that riff so perfectly.
