Beyond Reality - Hell's Kitchen Recap 3/19/09
Last week Coi was sent home. This week its all about the hot new trend - Tapas (which isn't exactly new) Each team has to make 5 Tapas dishes using leftovers. The teams were evened up by sending Giovanni over to the ladies team. In the end it came down to a tie as it does 95% of the time. It was Ben vs Giovanni & Giovanni won it for the ladies team. The men & Lacey had to double prep as their punishment as well as cleaning & polishing all of the extra Tapas dishes that are on that evening's menu. The ladies & Giovanni were treated to a day out with Gordon at the Hollywood Park Horse Racing Track.
Despite finishing dinner service there were some major issues. J was a train wreck from beginning to getting thrown off the show from the dinner service. Carol & Andrea sent out raw pasta, LA is in a fog, Ben used a dirty tray for his wellington. The red team (ladies) actually were credited with the win but Gordon wants everyone to think about one person they don't want on their team anymore.
Everyone named Lacey except for Lacey, She wanted Robert out. Gordon asked Ben why he didn't nominate himself. In the end no-one went home because J left this week.
Next week - celebrity night & one chef doesn't make it through dinner service.

I think he said he took the worst form their team and the best of their team and switched them. Problem is, during the actual dinners Lacey has not been the worst on the blue team. So what does that say about them.

I think Lacy gotta be a low-budget actress or the producers picked the worst cook ever for the contest because she is too neurotic, even for a woman. That's beyond realistic.

i hate how cocky lacey was that she wasn't sent home she didn't stay because she was good she stayed because J went home it has nothing at all to do with her talent as a chef she needs to get over herself
