This is an AM/FM rig ONLY, it's NOT suppost to have SSB on it....Doh!! Just like a load of other AM/FM ONLY rigs out there, Cobra 150GTL, 29LTD,etc.
So why does this fail but the other AM/FM rigs are just fine? This is an AM/FM ONLY radio and is in Cobraworxshopz opinion the BEST AM/FM radio avaivable, bar none. I'm guessing that you, like many people with opinions about the rig, have never used or even owned one. Force One is Superb and very high Spec radio. The Force 2 SSB version out soon.

I'm afraid I agree with F4FMX its a beautiful transceiver full of pretty lights as he says.... but to have it reserved to am/fm is a bit strange 10 metres fm is only used here in the uk when/if there is an opening on the fm portion of the band as for am I like using am but then again there does not seem to be a huge interest in it on ten metres

Nothing strange about an AM/FM ONLY radio, there have been countless versions made over the years. This radio covers 25-30Mhz no gaps and is primarily aimed at the CB market but can operate on and is sold as a 10m mobile.
