Back in 1999, Peoria, IL's local News WEEK 25 team visited the Bob & Tom Show to interview them. Bob, Tom, Chick, and Kristie Lee were interviewed and gave some insight as to the show's beginnings.

  • @hrpt07 No they started in Michigan first before coming to Indianapolis in 1983. They've even touched on this before on their show.

  • I hear you.Growing up in central Indiana,I have enjoyed Bob and Tom for years and I remember back in the day thinking how sad it was that the rest of the country didn't get to enjoy them as well.Thank God for syndication.I can't imagine listening to any other show in the morning and will be very sad when they decide to call it quits.

  • I've been a loyal Bob and Tom listener since they were just "The Local Guys" on Q95 out of Indianapolis. I was surprised and happy when they became syndicated years after I left Indiana University.  Waking up listening to them is like hanging out with old friends all morning, but with the added bonus of celebrity visitors.
