Dogo Argentino - smart dogs - Auquito and Kona say HI!

My babies are so polite!!! gotta love them! Auquito not only has a nose with a perfect heart shape, is a stud, look at his son Kona, such a cutie and perfection!

No, they are dogos argentinos (or Argentinian Mastiffs). They have nothing to do with pitts.

i must say that this is the best breed ever! They are the best companions and are also very protective of the family. The are incapable of hurting a child, they are extremely smart and easy to train. They can be as sweet as candy, they love being near the family and being comfortable (love the bed, couch...). I love my 4 legged babies!

It varies. Dogos are white dogs and like most dogs they are prone to have some allergy or problems. But it is also a result of how they are raised/treated. My dogs never had issues with the skin, neither have allergies. However, my sister has 3 female dogos and one of them has allergies during the Spring season, her eyes get red, but the skin is not an issue. The only think I can say is that they do shed, specially when the season is changing.

Thank you, they really are. Auquito, the father (on the video you see the father and son) is extremelly smart, just by watching people, he learned how to open the tub faucet so he may drink water whenever he feels like, now I have to teach him how to close it... lol:)

aw come on, you're supposed to reward them with a treat after they do a specific trick for you, then they know they got something to look forward to after doing the trick. sheesh!
