During the Arts Advocacy Day Congressional Arts Kick Off, a flash mob broke out into song singing "America the Beautiful". It's safe to say that this was the first chorus flash mob that Capitol Hill has ever seen!

  • Wow, gorgeous voices and a great cause! Please do it again for NPR and Planned Parenthood!!

  • Awesome, guys. :) - Jenny

  • My uncle was one of the singers and he did me proud!

    GOV save the ARTS!

  • OldMicetro - you are soo right! We NEED music, art, literature, AND the freedom to "employ" these in all the ways that feed our individual and collective souls!

  • Ahh..... my favorite. Did you make those congressmen sing for their donuts? Things would be alot better this week if we had more legislators who could carry a tune. Please rescue them from insanity with more music. Please. Please. Please.

  • Fantastic video, would love to have been there!

  • Kudos to Ovation for making this happen and The Capital Hearings for organizing it!

  • A world without music would be as empty as a world without Planned Parenthood, NPR, public schools, or unions!

  • 1st! :) nice flash mob haha
