I have been looking all over and cant find a mandocello that is in a reasonable price and can be shipped to where I live, its kind of frustrating because its like you said:"... Like a cello but twice as cool"

Just a tought: Can a luthier who makes acoustic guitars and mandolins will be able to craft a mandocello?

That would truly depend on the ability of the builder. also check Gbase (dot) com - sometimes they'll ship internationally if they have a mandocello

Yes indeed - just like in the Violin family - violin; viola; cello; double bass - the same family exists for mandolin - mandolin; mandola; mandocello and mandobass - search YouTube for a Mandolin Orchestra - it's mind blowing
