@F1superfanantic You can use normal speakers, yes. Just don't buy those 2.1 or 5.1. You just need two speakers.

Who has a MacBook without audio input, can you connect an instrument without the audio input?

Every new MacBook has an Audio Input. The new MacBooks share the line in and line out. Wich means you do not have input and output at the same time, wich sucks...

It would be better to grab an external Audio interface, usb or firewire.
