  • Dear Peter,

My father was an African student in London during 1968, and he told about that historical event. But he was unaware of your little gesture that made a great difference. Shame on those who ostracised you soon after. I was saddened to hear about your death, but I'm also glad because your reward is in heaven - this world is too evil and prejudiced for a nice person like you. And I thank God for blessing you with a nephew like Matt.

    Rest in peace, Pete.

    Love,

    jemmabond X

  • Hi Jemmabond, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Very much appreciated. Love Matt Norman.

  • Why were people so upset? Even if you didn't agree with these men, they didn't hurt anyone. They didn't destroy property or wipe their ass with the flag. Their protest was peaceful and respectful.

  • Proud to be the 100,000 view of this amazing film!

  • Fue muy significativo también para los mexicanos esta protesta sobre todo por lo que había pasado el 2 de octubre de 1968...

  • i got to meet Mr Norman today (Matt norman) he came to our school and had a talk, he is a very inspiring man

  • @dave4248 During the olypimcs it is said to leave politics at home. This is the time where people compete and the world unites.

  • I don't mean to hate or offend, I'm a white person living in the United Kingdom. May I just ask any blacks. Is it right that I cannot scream "WHITE POWER" at the top of my voice for fear of being deemed a racist? If God created all men equal, shouldn't whites be entitled to the same freedom of speech and passage that blacks should? Now I understand if you hate what people of my colour have done to people of your colour... But is it fair that blacks can have pride while we can't?

  • I didn't get any racist vibes from what those two did. Then again, I don't drink the M$M's kool aid about these men. What they did was NEVER about racial supremacy or enthocentrism. It was about achieving equal distribution of power in a country where power was exclusive to whites. It was a call for unity among blacks across the world. Basically it was about human rights.

  • salute to the three heroes that gave up their professional lives to show what it means the word "courage".

  • wow what peter did was amazing, he stood up and did the right thing knowing that what he was standing up for did not affect him or his family,he fought against racist scum....Peter Norman was and will remain a true legend...his legacy will continue on forever....

  • @dave4248 - even if they "wipe[d] their ass[es] with the flag," I would support their right to do so. I didn't spend time in uniform so that freedoms could be taken away because what someone had to say (or how they said it) was "disturbing" or "offensive" to others.

Don't like it? Don't listen, or look. America is advanced citizenship; too bad for whiny punks who think that a raised fist is scary.

  • i have tried to get this film,, can you download it on you tube please
