Just me sharing some tips and tricks about film-making that I've learnt

So I had a few questions from people about film-making so rather then messaging people I thought I'd make a quick video.

I talk about
picking a video to make
Writing a script
where to find actors
finding a location to film
equipment such as a camera and tripod

Hope the video was useful and helped you get a clearer understanding about film-making and gave you some ideas of how start to make your own films.

  • Dude, Yeah I know, an insignificant question here, but where do you get the car models from?

BTW, a great film making vid! I sent a link to it to a friend (freekickerz1). Hit him up and tell him that EastCoastFrat said to Subscribe to you! He really needs some vid editing tips.

  • @EastCoastFrat Sorry for the late reply, I got the car models from canada in 07

  • @TrueMOBSTER hey trueMOBSTER. i am making a movie. ive made a few before, but these tips have helped me become better. So im making a horror film. i have the actors, the script, the setting, and everything set up already. But the movie takes place at night. Do you have any suggestions on what camcorder i should get? i need a camera that is reasonably cheap, (Less than 500 american dollars [which i think is like 320 pounds]) and works really well in low light enviornment. Thanks for your time!

  • @Rebelshockey19 Well I've had some good experience using sony cameras, make sure it's HD and watch some reviews before buying one, When your filming set-up some lighting so your character isn't completely dark, maybe have him using a touch,, Check out my new series coming soon which will be the steps to making a short film :)

  • Great video, some decent tips :) I just hired a script writer to write my short film, it didnt cost much and I have a low budget all the time. I used to use a camcorder to film, now I use the Canon 600D dslr which is amazing for filming on. CHeers for the tips, really helpful
