Serial Gazer (NSF)

HyperCam is back in action! Thanks to the great help of Sam (Shnabubula), I can now record and submit videos again (I had no luck with CamStudio or Fraps). If you haven't already, check out all of Sam's remixes on OCReMix - http://www.ocremix.org/remixer/shnabubula/ - they're by far the best on the site. Then subscribe to his youtube channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/shnabubula - he is an incredible composer and pianist.

This was my only entry into Famicompo mini vol. 5 earlier this year, compared to the five I made last year. However, it placed 7th out of 61 entries in the original category, making it my most successful Famicompo entry so far. Not a first place yet, I can only dream (or keep trying)! But the competitive aspect shouldn't be the main focus, writing and sharing music with people is the best thing.

The track was by and large inspired by psychedelic substances. It's like a cosmic LSD trip! I'm not so fond of the first half, until the chords come in around 1:34. But whatever. Please let me know your thoughts!

i use a bunch of names in different places and for different reasons, or sometimes no reason at all. i don't think pseudonyms are too important; i am known as dave in all places.

I got 10th in Technique/SEnse, 4th in Idea and 7th in Lovin'. So kinda high I suppose. I got higher for Technique last year though.
