A PLEA FOR MY LAND - HERBERT PAGANI

This letter was written by Herbert PAGANI in 1975, a famous artist during the 60s and the 70s in France and in Italy. This letter was read for the first time during the French TV show called Le grand Echiquier (The big Chess board) hosted by Jacques Chancel in French primetime television.
PAGANI wrote this letter in response to the UN Resolution 3379, adopted on November 10, 1975 by a vote of 72 to 35 (with 32 abstentions), that "determine[d] that Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination".
I thought that the current Israeli conflict and the numerous articles in the press against Israel give this letter such a powerful meaning, even if it was written three decades ago and even if the resolution 3379 was finally revoked on December 16, 1991.
