man, if the dude that got thrown would have been able to root himself into the ground better all he would have had to do is kiai to get the ippon. thats y tomoe nage is scary to throw in competition

the thing is that if u miss the throw and the guy sprawls out in a way, u can always go for an armbar to the arm u grabbed of him anyways

That tomoe-nage wasn't THAT good... But when it comes to competition (almost) everything goes and it's more brute force than technice

you know this is a great technique but easy to get out of if an un experienced judoka usses it.
