think people should pay more attention to the fact that the hit detection doesnt seem to exist in this. at 2:14 it was a clear hit by at least 6 bullets. no death

Not bad. The patterns are certainly prettier than ZUN's, but that in itself is the problem. ZUN generally never creates patterns that're purely for show. For example, Byakuren's third spellcard at 2:12 has a BUNCH of red circles that did nothing for close to a minute, before spreading out and only creating a solid wall without posing any kind of real challenge. ZUN wouldn't make something so useless like that. But other than that, this is a pretty nice extra stage.

I don't mind the danmaku, though some of it is BS, I can't help but wonder why the Sanae player is the way they are. Do they only have two fingers? Can they not focus and shoot at the same time?
