Miroslav gets help from Joe Zawinul, Billy Cobham and John McLaughlin on his largely forgotten 1970 album Purple. From this embryonic half-Weather report, half-Mahavishnu Orchestra constellation the framework of things to come is sketched out. Wayne Shorter, of course, is missing but there is a nod to him in the inclusion of his composition Dolores.
The audio has been lifted from vinyl so please excuse the minor crackle.

Morning Lake, I could not think of the name of that one. Yes that song is in there. It is credited to Vitous on the Weather Report 1971 record.

"Morning Lake" is hidden in this tune!

This sounds like a reworking of Morning Lake from Weather Report's debut and from 'To Be Continued' with Terje and Jack DeJohnette. Thanks for this. I was not aware of this album's existance
