HZ Super Cub High Altitude Winter Flight

A flight in Feb. with FlyCamOne2 on my Hobby Zone Super Cub with a 2-Cell lipo battery. I beat my personal altitude record.

How was that a super cub. It had a steerable wheel at the front. Supercubs are tail draggers which mean a steerable wheel at the back. Any way sweet vid 5*

That was the left main gear that got in the shot, it just moves side to side a little. It is a HZ super cub.

This is pretty cool. So how high did you go, is there any way of telling precisely.

It was about 2500 ft. There is really no way to tell but the range is about 2500 ft and every now and then I lost control of it, also I flew over in a real plane at 2500 ft and it look pretty similar to this.

I sit in a chair with the remote on my lap...fly with one hand and hold a binoculars with the other.

damn, that´s a thing i often thought about , but never dared to do.

suppose, this can get very "exciting", when you loose your focus and have to rescan the sky ;-)
