This was a time when people respected science. Now, everyone is anti-Monsanto. GMO crops, Round Up ready seeds, suing the small former for having round up ready seeds sprouting on their land when they didn't ask for it, etc. However, this ride was created by engineers and artists who had nothing to do with corruption. They were into science, which this ride reflected quite well. I loved that ride.

Wonderful! I loved this when I was a kid. I was so young, I thought we actually shrank.

I would love to have that multicolored snowflake as my desktop wallpaper.

This is what Tomorrowland is supposed to be about. Now it's all Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear. Innovations is the only real science attraction left. I have gotten a lot of mileage out of the DVD and digital downloads I bought for my Iphone and Ipad. What did the Peoplemover narration say when you passed through ATIS?

Like I remember another poster saying, the 60s were a time when Tomorrowland showcased REAL science. ATIS being their crown jewel. Now we have "Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters" and other cheesy non-science based attractions. Such a shame Disney is wasting their "Imagineering" on such drivel nowadays.

It is there at 6:24 mark but you can't see the arc. I built it correctly but from the first person perspective you can't see that it was arced. Oh well.

I actually didn't forget and there are actual little oil drips going down the strand. They are just really small and not seen very well. I guess I should have made them bigger. Oh well. Maybe someday when I make an HD version I will fix that.

I was told by an imagineer that there was plans for an inner/outerspace attraction where you would go from set to set shrinking (then growing) with 3D glasses on with different screens in different rooms like the transformers ride at Universal (or Spider-man in Florida). I think the idea has been scrapped tho. Too bad.
