FINALLY! TV Mobile has stopped working. Good riddance! At least early on this Leyland. For the first time in many years we are able to obtain a squeaky clean copy of the engine noise without the slightest worry about copyright issues whatsoever!

While the Leyland Olympians purchased by then Singapore Bus Services are currently the oldest double-deckers in the fleet (yes, older than the non-aircon Volvo Olympians!), they are arguably the newest ones in the world as they are the 200 last ones to be build under the Leyland name.

It is powered by a Cummins LT10 engine, and was dubbed the Super Bus on its introduction, being the first air-conditioned double decker in its time. In this video, it is serving on the veteran 174 route on Jurong Road as it has always does.
