Incredible NES Soundtracks: Guardian Legend

The Guardian Legend -
"In The Guardian Legend, the player takes control of the guardian of Earth, a "highly sophisticated aerobot transformer". It is the guardian's mission to infiltrate Naju, a spaceship the size of a planet which is hurtling towards the Earth. While inside, the guardian must activate ten self-destruct switches to destroy Naju before it reaches Earth. However, Naju is infested with alien lifeforms which the guardian must battle in order to successfully activate the switches and escape." -Wikipedia

No gameplay footage. It's more about the music than video but I did include some MilkDrop visualizations from Winamp. Each song is original work from the Nintendo game. However boss theme 1, forest corridor and organic corridor have my remixed versions in it. The game over song is a remix as well.

I Love this music prob best of any game ive played every single song is epic these old games have fantastic music which todays games usually arent even close too.

This is one of my favorite games too on Nes just amazing gameplay both spacetype and then you could walk around.

And what i also like with these older games you couldnt decide difficulty no it was 1 difficulty mostly and it was pretty damn hard not like most of todays game where you just run through them.

i remember when this game first came out i was in grade school...... and in college it was the first game i downloaded after i got nesticle. Best music of any video game ever and flat out one of the best games ever.... i had some epic battles with that damn eye thing that leaves those bars laying around many a time down to no health before i ramped it up for the win.

Love the music in this game. I use to think it was so hard when I was a child, now that I'm collecting retro games from the NES days and later, I realized it wasn't so tough. secret to staying alive.... Even if you take damage that would kill you, get some live before the bar slides to empty, and you'll have some life left (or a full bar if you get the blue power tanks) Game was easier after I noticed that, but still a challenge.

@NESCartFan most sentimental for me as well. it was my dads favorite game and he always watched me play and celebrated when i beat a boss. and if i ever couldn't decide what game to play he always said "guardian legend"
