Donna West is teaching an eight year old spotted saddle horse to "park out". Parking out is not just for gaited horses; it is good for teaching a horse to be patient and responsive as well as lowers his back for mounting. It does compromise the strength of the horse's back so, as with any mounting, gently ease into the saddle. This can also be taught from the saddle.
Very nicely taught and demonstrated - thanks you so much.
