This is a demo of how I flood my cookies using 10 Count Royal Icing. To check the consistency of your icing, take a spoonful and drop it back into the bowl. It should take about 10 seconds for the icing to smooth itself out.

The cookie I am decorating is an orange vanilla spice sugar cookie. It contains orange zest, vanilla bean and cardamom.

  • Great tip! I was piping mine too close to the rim of the cookie, which caused many to over flow off the cookie...thanks again for sharing such a wonderful video!

  • Ok, it's still alchemy as far as I'm concerned, but you've helped demystify it by at least 50% with just this one short video! Thank you so much! (Royal Bakery). x
