@vihena I've been wondering the same as LittleMissStiches for a long time. To hear that what you've learned is mostly self-taught is phenomenal.
I can agree with you on traditional drawing not entirely helping in this regard. I took Fine Arts in college and while I amassed a good deal of knowledge and experience on certain mediums, it really didn't help me for anything beyond that. Nor on certain subjects.
Especially with their attitude of 'No anime in class!' Blegh.

I really wonder if you had schooling for your level of artwork or if you were self-taught. Also, I find this picture so incredibly adorable. <3 The confetti just made it so cute and innocent, I think.

@LittleMissStitches I've been drawing for a very long time. In terms of anime, 100% of it is self-taught. I have taken classes for traditional drawing, but it hardly helped. lol. All of my painting techniques are self taught, mostly by just playing around in photoshop and discovering new things!
