I made a choice back in Nov 81 that ruined my life, and it's all because my mother and her husband BETRAYED AND ABUSED me.

@guttaboy44 Mariah is a mechanically great singer. Her songs, however, are emotionally vacuous. She never communicates with her listeners. Diana's version is hauntingly beautiful and yet bittersweet, and she expresses that in ways that technical mastery of rhyme and pitch can't. Lopez's ability to "emote" is horrible..
I honestly wish these singers would stop singing these covers.

Neither Jennifer, nor Mariah should have covered this. Mariah doesn't know about nuance and subtleness, and Jennifer just can't sing particular well.
