I feel as if Tae is no different from Jaa cuz he makes movies too and Tony Jaa actually trains too wouldn't you agree and he was taught by Adjarn Sokchai correct me if im wrong

The difference is that Tae is arguably the best Muay Thai Chaiya fighter in Thailand. where as Jaa dosnt really represent a single style or a single teacher. adjan sok chai was jaa's first teacher but he also studied tae kwan do nd kung fu and gymnastics and grduated sort university Tae, on the other hand, studied with Kru lek for ten years. he is pure Chaiya.

it's part of Muay Boran along with other prominent regional styles; Korat (Northeastern), Lopburi (Central-ish), Tha Sao (Northern)

i agree with the fact that chaiya is a boran style. boran just means ancient. and when we say muay boran it really means any art before the 1920s when modern muay thai rules and techniques were established.

chaiya is boran, in the sense of old, but the movements training and techniques are completley unique and not even remotely similar to what we normally call muay boran like tony jaa does in the movies.

yeah, very different. But the destructive fancy finishing moves or Mae Mai are where these srtyles unite generally.
