Today's Millsdale Local is a bit longer than usual, but the historic Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe caboose is still on the end of the train! Classic power also remains on it! ATSF #784 is the caboose number.

BNSF GP30u #2408 (ex. Santa Fe Bluebonnet) and BNSF GP38 #2114 are in charge of the local today. The train is running on the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision, preparing to cross the Rock Island diamond.

Filmed on December 26th, 2007.

This video was taken with my new Sony DCR DVD108!

  • Wow that is great quality!

  • Hey Frank,

Thanks! I traded the Sony in for a Panasonic. I've yet to take it out during the day.

  • Sure, you can call me.

I'm not too sure why this train was so long. LOL! Usually, it's a LOT shorter. I've seen it this long before, though. On this day, it was anything BUT a local.
