Filmed on board a RAF Sea King from 202 Squadron Lossiemouth the video shows a real rescue when the crew see the words "Help" stamped in the snow.

  • Is this like a training day, becuase the pilot didn't seem very confident at the beginning.

  • The pilots were on an exercise in the Cairngorms with the local mountain rescue team when by chance we came across the man who had stamped help in the snow. The pilot who you see in the picture was being instructed by the other officer not shown in vision . I have more footage of it taking off and flying which in time i will post on here

  • was this film taken from the documentry series Rescue, Dir / producer Paul Berriff at all ?

  • No this was filmed some time after he filmed the oil disaster
