  • Amazing.

A world with no religion would not be a utopia though. But it will be the closest thing we've to it in the history of mankind.

  • @IcedCoffee81 Yes, because religious people have NEVER committed any atrocities. The problem with dictators like Hitler and Mussolini isn't that they were atheists, but that they redirected unquestioning faith towards political ideologies (inspiring the same kind of mindless devoting to an ideology that is usually reserved for imaginary deities). Faith was still the problem. They still turned their back on reason, and therefore, on what atheism is really about.

  • @Spectre39 True. Getting rid of religion wouldn't solve all our problems - as Dawkins suggested - but it would definitely make people have to think a little harder to try and rationalize their cruelty. Religion makes it far too easy; just drop the name of any manner of god, spirit, fairy, gnome, or elf, and BAM, instant deluded justification. It just removes the middle man of critical inquiry like an annoying cyst.

  • @Jimkbbh huh ? ur weird

  • @IcedCoffee81 Stalin attended seminary school and was on a path to priesthood but figgered he had a better plan, he decided to play God instead and murdered millions. As an atheist he went mad, add power and thats what ya get.

    Been down that road.

  • Liberal, jungle loving, fruity, hippy, wiccan, tree hugging, queer, wimpy, trailer trash, atheist, leftist shrimps think they're smart but blame all religions and all religious people instead of extremists. How are less religious places peaceful? China, Russia, Korea, Vietnam, Israel, and parts of Eastern Europe and central Asia are some of the least religious places and they're corrupt. France, Britain, Portugal, Germany, Spain, and Japan are less religious than U.S but are just as corrupt.

  • ....even though Hitler and Mussolini were raised Christian, they STILL became atheists themselves! And LOOK at their stubborness and look at all the atrocities that these pigs WERE RESPONSIBLE for!

  • atheists believe 0+0=1 how stuiped is they?

  • @cookbryce12

continue... if you talked with me honestly and openly about religions and life etc, you'd probably be an atheist, or an agnostic by the end of the month...for sure you'd be non religious.

you'd probably thank me after too.

  • @cookbryce12

you obviously missed the point of this video.

its about all the suffering that wouldnt happen in the name of religion(s)...which we all know is a lot. atheists are condemned in abrahamic holy books...either by physical harm from the believers or in death by the creator. why would god want you to love something that he thinks should be in hell?.... let me guess...its so that you can show us how to love god and be saved? we dont want the help, nor do we need it.

  • @cookbryce12

"atheists r hypocrytes yall try to cram atheism down r throats"

Asking for the US government to remain neutral w/ regard to religion as it was originally supposed to be, is not cramming atheism down your throats.

"The worst form of slavery, is where the chains are invisible".

I believe religion, dogma of any kind, to be those invisible chains :)
