There are still some people there, but not many, it's much like the rest of the towns in Mcdowell county, only shadows of there former selves

Thanks for this video. I was born in Maybeury over 68 years ago but left the area with my family in 1949. Haven't been back since but, as you know, McDowell County blood never leaves you. I'm sure that Maybeury-Switchback is virtually non-existant now. Do you know if there's much left there?

We usually ride around Gary and over to Coalwood at least once while we're there. We might try some new trails this trip so I'm not quite sure yet.
