can you spray lightly a scent over the filter?

@SpeedKid117 sorry, looks like I gave you the dimensions for the engine air filter, not the cabin air filter. sorry :)

Arrrrgh... Youtube won't let me post a website address. That description says...
Length: 8 1/2"
Width: 7 13/16"
Thickness: 1 3/16"
which is equivalent to
216mm(length)
198mm(width)
30mm(thickness)

@eturkov According to that description and the ones I found elsewhere, the dimensions you've kindly given me is way off. Is that the one you've really used?
Thanks for this video. I was not looking forward to trial-and-error. But I also didn't want to pay the 1000% premium on the filter to have it installed. Did your friend like the charcoal filter better than the paper one?

@RobTheBolder Yeah, the charcoal ones are a bit nicer, filter out a bit more pollen and odors

Did it change by 2006? All I had to remove was the glove-box door... Didn't see any reason to remove all the trim stuff???

@dtuna42 it can be done without removing some of the trim, however, you risk damaging the panels.

Well, the dealer offered to do this for a cool $150. that kind of griped me. So I went to Advanced Auto and got a filter for $17 and then followed this video. I finished the entire job in less than 15 minutes.
I am not richer...and smugger :)
Thanks for the video. What a great service.
