Labyrinth -- Dance Magic Dance

My friend Cesca and I performing a dance routine to The Labyrinth's Dance Magic Dance at Swancon 2008 (I think). Cesca is the perfectly marvelous Jareth, and I am Sarah.

I was wondering how you made/ where you bought the vest for Sarah? I've been wanting to cosplay her for a while :)

@chanelcairnscvc Sorry for the late response. I made the vest myself! I can't remember the pattern, but I think it was just a standard Simplicity one. The front panels are cotton upholstery fabric, I think. It came with the pattern on it, but it was white embroidery on white cotton, so I had to paint over the pattern with copper fabric paint. It took FOREVER, but I think it was worth it. Aside from that, the back panels are high-quality satin, and the lining is satin lining fabric.

@Shuichi0Minamino We learned the dance AND we made the choreography, actually! Cesca's a good dancer, and I am... really not, so we hammered out the choreography together and then she helped me memorize it all.

I'm pretty sure that was just pretty much the best thing I've ever seen in my entire life. You should make a tutorial for the dance (pretty pretty pretty please?)

Hjkhdgj! You two look perfect! Your Sarah hair is fantastic to the point that I cannot tell if it is real or a wig and you Jareth is just dhsjdfajb (Many awards to her for the bulge because, as we all know, that is pretty much the star of the movie...I mean, come on, at least a big distraction?! *hopes she is not alone in that sentiment >///<* A sock, I assume?)...
