Thanks !! I just bought me a Spot On yesterday ... mountg an 91AR 4S, and not too sure about Tahmazo carbonite or Hitec MG servos .... but they gotta be in the hi torque 7-9kgcm range, i guess
-
thats decent rpm considering its stock, , . Unfortunately i did not tune my pipe the correct way i just chopped an inch off, i reccomend you do the 1/4" method
-
Today I tached it with 12x6 apc 15% fuel and enya3 plug @ 11000peak, stable 10800. That was with 23F degrees outside, prr it was a cold flying day. :D Btw, did you tune your pipe 1/4" at a time, or you just guessed and cut 1" off?
-
i used a standard header, and trimmed of an inch , with the engine mounted upright.
-
Yep, i had a APC sport prop. But what lenght header pipe did you use? Std,long or xtra-long?
-
What brand of prop were you using when you tached 10,300? I know APC's compared to Master Airscrew tach fewer RPM, but perform better. When i tached 13100, i was using the master airscerw prop

I got 10300rpm on 12x6 on 10% modeltechnics fuel(crap), and a little more on 15% cool power, but havent tached it, i now fly on 12x8.
May i know what Engine and Servo set-up U had on this beauty ?
