Glacier (Kalam Valley). 13 July 2010. We are going to Glacier (Situated in Gabral Valley) from Kalam (Situated 99 Km north from Mingora (Swat)). It takes nearly 3 hours on jeep to reached at glacier from Kalam. But when we are vary close to our destiny (20 to 30 Minutes away), there is a bridge flooded by water (coming from mountains (Nala in Urdu)) and Local people warned tourists to not to cross the bridge. So we spent nearly 1 hour at this place, trying to access 1 nearby small glacier. It looks very close to us but it takes nearly 15 to 20 minutes on feet to reach near the glacier. After all when we reached there, we realized that access to glacier is impossible because of flooded water. I try my best to found some way, but failed.
