The IMEi number stands for
International Mobile Equipement Identity. If you register your property with us using our Labels for mobile or even a key tag (if you wish) we will store this number for you along with the serial number.
Taken from the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association. So either report your phone as lost/stolen or if you inform us of the number at the time of registration we can give you your number back.
WARNING: This IMEI check only provides details of those phones reported and blocked at the time of the inquiry therefore it is not conclusive. If the owner of the phone does not report it lost or stolen prior to your purchase, the resulting IMEI check cannot identify it as a lost or stolen handset.
All buyers of second-hand mobile phones should request proof of ownership at the time of purchase.
We also hold spare keys (if you lodge a set with us) we do not need to know your address. $25 per year, saves you a ton of money to get your spare key back rather than call a locksmith.
Thanks.. It really helped.
