@METALSEXDWARF joey is more relevant today than satyr is, slipknot has made improvements for the whole metal scene, and if not for them metal wouldnt be as popular and wouldnt get as much support. They had the first number one metal record in a decade in britain with iowa.

But I do completely agree with what Joey said in this interview though. The metal scene is a little bit generic... it's not real anymore. Well, some of it. I mean there's some bands who are still out there making music and it actually comes from their hearts and not just for money or anything like that. :|

I know you posted this two months ago, but let me just say this: Why are you dissing Slipknot even though you 'respect' Joey? And, not every Slipknot or Lamb of God fan is a 'white trash' caucasian male. The 'Knot has enormous diversity in their fanbase, even though white males MAY be the majority. I'm a multiracial (50% black/50% white) female from Tucson, AZ, which I'm guessing is not the type of person most people think of when they hear 'Slipknot'. But I love their music regardless.
