I see the meaning of this song, It basically about both the girl & guy they witnessed their friends die right before their eyes by a murderer, killing them without mercy.
And now the 2 R grieving over them, however, they pull themselves together, finding the strength, loading their weapons to fight the ones who killed their friends.
That's what I see in this.
Why, because I've seen people die before me, one's that I cared about...
When I heard this I instantly thought about it...

The Guy Witnesses his friend die and the weapon he is loading is his will to change his life and leave his old life behind. The enemy is the past catching up with him. Basically the Same for the girl.
