a plate heat exchanger transfer heat way better, if you use pv you can ad one more

a recirculaton pump betwen solar and electric tank is needed to avoid electricity heating when low or no demand (standby loses).
I dont see a air relife valve on the collector. Pump will not circulate if air int the collector
what size pump is your ivan labs pump? how much vertical feet are you pumping?
