  • This video shows a bird caught as part of a study of the breeding success of resident and migratory birds in Keene, New Hampshire. Birds are caught in "mistnets", that cradle them in an open mesh of fine threads. They are handled by skilled professionals and highly trained volunteers. The results of this study, which is part of an international effort to understand declines in bird populations, will contribute to bird conservation.
