@highvibration, I haven't gone to Washington to see the monument yet, but I plan to do so next year. In the meantime, I'm fortunate to live in the city where Martin and Coretta exerted so much effort. I'll take advantage of the memorials we have of them here. I am also spearheading a campaign to honor Coretta. My group plans to have a choral competition on Jan. 28, 2012, that features a pretty song written for Coretta right after her death.

I actually like this. I found the music's genre incongruent with the subject, at first, but eventually it became part of the charm. I especially love the powerful ending. And I absolutely love that you equate the sacrifices and struggles of Martin and Coretta; people tend to want to discount her role in the Movement. They don't know so much of what she did. I do, and I appreciate your paying homage to her.

@TheWriterWalker Thank you. My friend Peter Bolland wrote/sang this song. Every time I hear it I am reminded what a emptiness we have now that Martin & Coretta are gone. Their lives give me strength.I can hardly wait to visit DC again and visit my old friend, standing exactly where he should. be. Gone but never forgotten
